Sometimes you may have an external 2.5" hard drive and the standard USB A/B cable is not able to supply enough power. This problem can be easily solved by using our USB Y power grabber cable with two USB A plugs. Simple plug the two USB A plugs into two open USB ports of your PC or Mac. The Y cable pulls power from both USB ports. Not only 500mA are available now. The Y cable supplies 500mA + 500mA. 1A should be is enough that your 2.5" hard drive starts and works properly.

The partsdata USB Y power grabber cable is available in 60cm, 1m and 1.8m. The shortest cable is the best solution. Short means more power!

NOTE: This Y cable is not designed to split USB signals to multiple PCs. The two USB A connectors are meant to plug into the same computer. It´s just a solution to double the bus power.
